While Viera, Florida is definitely an attractive city to consider if you’re moving to this part of the state, it’s important that you consider each neighborhood by learning about its unique features and what it has to offer. Life in the Center of Viera
As the name suggests, the City Center neighborhood is located right in the middle of Viera. Many residents enjoy this location because it means they’re pretty much equal distance from every corner of the city.
That being said, while you’re not right on the beach – like you would be if you lived in some of the other neighborhood of Viera – this means you also won’t be paying waterfront prices or anything similar. It’s not as though you’ll have a hard time traveling to the beach when you want.
Buying a New Home in the City Center Neighborhood
Homes here are very nice, yet uncommonly affordable for the area. The median price for a home here is just $153,405. That’s more expensive than the median price for 45.3% of neighborhoods in the state – and 42.5 % of neighborhoods in the rest of the country – which should give you some idea of how affordable this area is compared to many others.
It’s worth pointing out that rentals in this part of town are pretty popular too. The average price to rent a home here is $1,094. That’s greater than 57.1% of the median rental prices in the rest of the Sunshine State’s neighborhoods. Therefore, it’s slightly more affordable to rent here, which might be a good idea for those who have to make a quick move to Viera and want more time to look around.
As suburbs in this part of Florida go, you’ll obviously have a difficult time finding a place to live that will cost you less. Furthermore, there is so much going on around you that the location is tough to beat as well.
Most of the homes here have three or four bedrooms, which are considered medium-sized. However, there is also a large amount of homes with five or more bedrooms too. Again, given the low prices of homes here, it’s hard to imagine you’ll find a better deal elsewhere.
The community in the City Center neighborhood is fairly diverse. That being said, another reason this part of town sticks out is because so many college students and recent grads move here to benefit from the low cost of living.
If you want a vibrant neighborhood that isn’t too far from the beach and is plenty affordable, this is a great place to begin your search. While Viera is home to a number of great neighborhoods, this one is full of beautiful homes being sold at a bargain.
