The median price for a home in this neighborhood is $212,218. That amount is more expensive than the median price in 66.1% of Florida’s neighborhoods and 60.3% of those in the entire country. Still, you have to consider that the homes here are very nice. The majority of them were built between 1970 and 1999, though you won’t have a hard time finding real estate that is even newer. If you’re looking to save money or just enjoy older architecture, the Pineda neighborhood is also home to a number of properties that were built as far back as 1940.

A lot of residents also love the nautical feel the whole community has here. With some of the properties going back to before WWII, there is plenty of old architecture that make Viera feel quaint and inviting.
Most of the people who live in the Pineda neighborhood are middle class and make a moderate income. Still, the income rate in this area is greater than that of 50.7% of the rest of the country. Nearly half of those employed here work in white collar professions. The other half works in a diverse range of fields from sales to fast food. There is basically no poverty here or serious crime to worry about either.
